Editorial Policies
Section Policies
All submissions must fall within the journal's focus and scope and comply with the Author Guidelines and article template. Manuscripts must be original, academically accountable, not previously published, and not under consideration by another journal.
The editorial team conducts an initial screening for scope, manuscript structure, methodological suitability, ethics, technical format, and similarity. Manuscripts may be returned before external review if they are outside scope, incomplete, technically unsuitable, or clearly below the journal's minimum scholarly standard.
Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that pass editorial screening are sent to at least two reviewers with relevant expertise for peer review. Reviewers assess originality, managerial relevance, theoretical grounding, methodological rigor, quality of data and analysis, contribution to Islamic educational management, and suitability for publication.
Editorial decisions may be: accepted, minor revision, major revision, or rejected. When revision is requested, authors are normally expected to return the revised manuscript within two weeks unless another deadline is stated by the editor.
Accepted manuscripts proceed to editing, copyediting, layout, proofing, and scheduling for the nearest available issue.
Open Access Policy
QAWIY AMIN provides immediate open access to its published content in order to support wider dissemination of research on Islamic educational leadership and management. Readers may access published articles without subscription charges.
Reuse of published content is governed by the journal's Creative Commons license and requires proper attribution and compliance with the applicable license terms.

Plagiarism and Similarity Policy
All submitted manuscripts are subject to similarity screening. The journal's maximum working similarity threshold is 20%. A numerical score is not the sole measure of plagiarism; editors may reject a manuscript for inappropriate paraphrasing, self-plagiarism, unattributed translation, duplicate publication, or other misuse of sources even when the similarity score is below the threshold.
