  • Qur’anic verses are written in Arabic script, followed by the translation and an in-text reference such as (QS. Al-Jumu’ah [62]: 2). The translation edition is listed once in the references.
  • Hadith is written in Arabic with a translation and an in-text reference identifying the compiler and number, for example (HR. al-Bukhārī, no. 1). Only sahih and hasan hadith are used as normative foundations.
  • Arabic terms not standardized in Indonesian are italicized and transliterated according to the Indonesian Joint Ministerial transliteration system, for example ta'dīb and tarbiyah.
  • References are alphabetized, use hanging indentation, and include DOI where available.
