General requirements

The manuscript has not been published and is not under consideration by another journal. It is written in Indonesian, English, or Arabic and submitted through the journal’s online system after the author registers and logs in.

Manuscript format

Microsoft Word file (.docx), A4 paper, 3 cm margins (top, left, right) and 2.5 cm (bottom). Font, font size, and spacing follow the official template for the manuscript language. Length 4,000–8,000 words including references. Use the official template above so the format is already correct.

Anonymisation

Because the journal uses double-blind review, remove names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and other identifying clues from the manuscript and the document properties. Author details are entered only in the submission form, including an ORCID iD where available.

Article structure

  • Title: concise and informative, no more than 15 words, reflecting the main variable or focus.
  • Abstract: 150–200 words in Indonesian and English (Arabic manuscripts also include an Arabic abstract), stating the purpose, methods, main results, and conclusions.
  • Keywords: 3–5 terms, separated by semicolons.
  • Introduction: background, relevant prior studies, the research gap, and the objectives.
  • Methods: design, participants or data sources, instruments, procedures, and analysis techniques, in enough detail to be replicated.
  • Results: the main findings in logical order, supported by tables or figures where necessary.
  • Discussion: the meaning of the findings, comparison with other studies, implications, and limitations.
  • Conclusion: an answer to the research objectives and recommendations that follow from the findings.
  • References: only sources cited in the manuscript.

Tables and figures

Numbered and titled in sequence and referred to in the text. Tables are built as editable tables, not images. Figures have a resolution of at least 300 dpi and state their source if not the authors’ own work.

Citations and references

Use APA 7th edition. Prefer primary and recent sources, and make sure every citation appears in the reference list with its DOI where available. A reference manager such as Zotero or Mendeley is recommended.

Research ethics

Research involving human participants states the ethical approval or the reason for exemption, informed consent, and the protection of data confidentiality.

Mandatory statements

Include at the end of the manuscript:

  • Conflict of interest: state whether there is one.
  • Author contributions: the role of each author, for example conceptualisation, methodology, analysis, writing.
  • Data availability: where the data can be accessed, or the reason it is not shared.
  • Funding: the source of research funding, or a statement of no specific funding.
  • Use of generative AI: the tools used and the parts assisted, if any. AI cannot be listed as an author.

Plagiarism

Manuscripts are checked with similarity-detection software before review. The maximum accepted similarity level is 20%. Manuscripts containing plagiarism, including self-plagiarism and duplicate publication, are rejected in line with the Publication Ethics policy.

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The manuscript has not been published and is not under consideration by another journal.
  2. The file is in .docx format and follows the Author Guidelines.
  3. The authors' identities have been removed from the manuscript and the document properties.
  4. An abstract in Indonesian and English (plus Arabic for Arabic manuscripts) and 3–5 keywords are included.
  5. References follow APA 7th edition and every citation appears in the reference list.
  6. Statements on conflict of interest, author contributions, data availability, funding, and use of AI are included.
  7. The authors have read the journal's Publication Ethics policy.

Artikel

This section publishes empirical research articles and systematic literature reviews within the Rumah Jurnal Cendekia Jurnal Hub focus and scope. Manuscripts in this section undergo double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers.
